In the Jazz, the smart 7-speed Honda Steermatic lets you change gears with fingertip ease, right from the steering wheel. Working with the Honda CVT, it allows you to adjust shifting response to road conditions and your own personal driving style. You can enjoy the best of smooth automatic and manual shifting with a firm feeling of control that makes driving so satisfying.

    The smooth-driving Honda Jazz is idea for relaxation. It takes the stress out of driving with a lightweight, responsive CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). This belt-driven system transmits power from the engine braking enhances already exceptional fuel economy. You can select normal or sporty drive modes on the central console lever, and the Jazz adjusts according to driving conditions.

    Ordinary engines use just one spark plug per cylinder. But the Jazz uses two, ignited in succession for waste-free combustion. This intelligent system produces superb efficiency in all rev and load rages and remarkable fuel economy at all speeds. That’s the beauty of the revolutionary new Honda Jazz. It’s equipped with a compact and lightweight 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder i-DSI (intelligent Dual and Sequential Ignition) engine. Honda Jazz achieves high fuel economy through its low fuel consumption engine character, without any sacrifice in high performance. And also generous torque in the low-to-mid rpm range, for a great performance boost in the driving ranges you commonly use.
    Original Honda G-Force Control Technology (G-CON) absorbs and controls the g-forces of a collision. In the Jazz, for instance, the arched side frame directs energy from away from the bumpers and cabin space and into the road. These protective measures were developed at Honda’s Real World Crash Test Facility, where carefully stimulated accidents create real life vehicles that help shield those inside and outside from injury. Whenever you want to go in life, the Jazz helps you get there safely and really enjoy the ride.
